Free daytime furry rave in Norther Cali this weekend!
Have you heard? We're putting together a free, daytime, all ages, furry dance event this Saturday. It's located in a park in the Oakland Hills. Which if you're from the central valley, you may not know that this hill side never gets over 80 degrees even on a warm sunny day. This weekend is looking to be really nice and promising. We've got all your favorite local furry dance djs. We've got a space for fursuiters to change in, and cool off. We've got cases of gatoraid and soda and water, and a crate of burgers and dogs. We also have all the permits to do this properly, so you don't have to worry about it getting shut down like some of the other "daytime raves". The place is really easy to get to, the vibe will be nice. For those who want to bring something, we'll have a table set up for a pot luck. BYOB if you are over 21 and want to drink (bring paper cups if you have hard alcohol, glass bottles can not be visible). New Mix from NeonBunny
I've recorded a new mix that I think some of you might just love. It's mostly music that lies somewhere between progressive house and trance. All stuff that I find really moody and emotional. Very melodic stuff. Not your typical EDM, some of the tracks feature sounds like violins, pianos, synths, and lots of vocals. And melodies. And harmonies. Wanted to clear out all the new stuff that I've gotten in this vein, so that I have room to do a mix of all the harder stuff I have later. But for now, here's a one hour mix for you furs.

Sounds and Sights from a Furry Rave
It seems that furries throwing parties is all the rage these days! There are great parties everywhere where furs can head to, dance in fursuit, spin some poi, wear your kandi, and get your groove on while dancing all night! Frolic is a small monthly even in San Francisco. We focus on quality not quantity. Each month we feature guest dj's featuring one of our own rotating djs (the best furry dj's in the bay area), one of the top local dj's from the San Francisco club and rave scene, and our own regular resident dj. So we've always got new talent, and consistent talent. March 12th was our one year anniversary party. We did something special for this month, and made our own Frolic kandi to give out! Laser etched and cut blacklight reactive acrylic tags. Oh man, they glow and they all feature furry art! Some day we need to meet someone who knows how to stream media either over the web or SL or something like that so that we can bring a real time furry rave atmosphere to all those who are geographically unable to attend (anyone in the bay area wanna offer to help out????) Until then, we've got some sounds and sights to share with you here. For music:
9pm - 11pm. DJ AudioDile. Great stuff, house, dance, pop. Very great smooth transitions from a great laptop dj! 11pm - 12:45. DJ NeonBunny. Was only supposed to be 1.5 hours. Man, JC had me nervous by showing up at the club 5 minutes after his set time. Was starting to break out some tracks a couple months old towards the end. Mostly house music, starting a little on the hard heavy and gritty side, moving into some funky house in the middle, including a remix of the new Human League which just came out today, and then going into some progressive. 12:45 - 2:00am. JC the DJ. Our guest dj this month. He has a regular show on KZSU (Standford Radio 90.1) every Thursday night from 12am-3am, specializing in the best and newest dance music. Show has been running for over 10 years. He's also a regular in the SF club and party scene, so there's plenty of chances to check him out if you liked his stuff. Frolic, Saturday March 12th, San Francisco
It's about time again for the bay area's best furry techno party happening in San Francisco. And this Saturday marks the one year anniversary that we've been hosting this monthly event. It's been a blast, thanks to all of you out there, and we promise to keep going by providing the best music and experience we can provide. This month, we've got a couple of our favorite dj's. AudioDile is a dj who's played just about every fur con out there, and is really good at getting furs to dance. We also have a guest dj who's well known in the SF club and party scene. JC the DJ, who's also had a radio show on KZSU (stanford radio) for the past 10 years specializing in the best and newest electronic dance music (every thursday night on 90.1 fm). We'll also have some special gifts to give to everyone who makes it out this weekend. Yea, free swag!!!
